Carrie Ryan Visits Freedom

In celebration of Teen Read Week 2009 - Read Beyond Reality - we had an author visit today from the very talented Carrie Ryan who writes beyond reality. Over one hundred teens were lucky enough to participate in her visit. Teens watched a book trailer of The Forest of Hands and Teeth, learned more about her book, the writing process, and zombies (of course!). Three lucky teens walked away with a signed copy of her book. Everyone else had a chance to get a signed bookmark.
Thank you, Carrie!

We hope you'll come back to talk to us about The Dead-Tossed Waves!
