Booktalks

I visited both Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology and Harding University to promote Banned Books Week. I booktalked titles that were either banned or challenged in the last year, which included titles such as Go Ask Alice, Shooter and The Earth, My Butt and Other Big Round Things. After talking with hundreds of teens about banned books and censorship, I was excited to see so much interest in reading. Remember that you can come in anytime and I'd be happy to help you find a book that's right for you.
